1. Who we are

Kaboom Cove (“the App”) is an arcade game provided by WeCraft S.R.L. (“WeCraft”, “we”, “us”), the controller of personal data processed for the App. Our address is Str. Lt. Alexandru Popescu nr. 9B, Sectorul 3, București, Romania. You can contact us at hello@wecraft.dev.

You can play without creating an account or providing your name or email address. The App saves your progress on your device and uses Apple, RevenueCat, and Google AdMob for optional purchases and advertising, and PostHog for usage statistics.

This policy covers the iOS App. When you visit our website, our website privacy policy also applies.

2. Information processed by the App

Local game data. Unlocked levels, stars, coins, power-ups, purchase-unlock flags, reward limits, sound, music, and vibration preferences, and reminder and usage-data preferences are saved in local app storage. We do not operate a player account or cloud save system for this progress. Your operating system may include local app data in device backups, depending on your settings.

Purchase records. Apple processes purchases. RevenueCat receives transaction and receipt information, product identifiers, purchase status, and a randomly generated app user identifier to validate purchases and manage access. This identifier is pseudonymous; it is not an account name or email address. Technical app and device information may also be processed to provide this service. We do not receive your full payment card details.

Advertising data. Google AdMob and its advertising partners may process your IP address, approximate location inferred from it, device identifiers (including the advertising identifier when permitted), ad views and interactions, and diagnostic and performance information. These data support ad delivery, measurement, fraud prevention, and service improvement, subject to your choices and applicable law.

Usage statistics. Unless you turn it off, the App sends gameplay and app events to PostHog, hosted in the European Union: for example app opens, levels started, completed or failed, stars and coins earned, shop visits, purchases, ad views, and whether you allowed reminders or ad tracking. Events include a random identifier generated by the App, the app version, and basic device information such as the operating system version and screen size. This identifier is pseudonymous, rather than fully anonymous. We do not send your name, email address, or advertising identifier, and we do not create person profiles. PostHog is configured not to store your IP address with usage events; it may use the IP temporarily to derive an approximate location or filter bots before discarding it. You can turn usage statistics off at any time in Settings → “Share anonymous usage data”. The App also sends startup diagnostic logs to PostHog to help us identify launch failures.

Reminders. If you allow notifications, the App schedules reminders on your device, for example when you have not played for a couple of days. Reminders are created and scheduled locally; no push token, reminder text, or notification schedule is sent to us or to a notification service provider. When usage statistics are enabled, reminder permission choices and reminder-open events are sent to PostHog as described above. You can turn reminders off in Settings → Reminders or in your device's Settings.

Support messages. If you contact us, we receive the email address and information you choose to include in your message so we can respond.

Kaboom Cove does not request access to your camera, microphone, photos, contacts, or precise GPS location.

3. Why we use information

  • To provide gameplay, save preferences, validate purchases, and unlock purchased features: performance of our agreement with you.
  • To deliver personalized advertising and use advertising identifiers where permission is required: your consent.
  • To respond to support requests, protect purchases, prevent abuse, and understand purchase performance: our legitimate interests in operating and improving the App, where permitted by law.
  • To understand how the App is played and improve levels, difficulty, and features, and to diagnose launch failures: our legitimate interests in operating and improving the App. You can object to usage statistics at any time by switching off usage data in Settings.
  • To meet applicable accounting, tax, and other legal requirements: compliance with legal obligations.

Where processing relies on consent, you can withdraw it at any time. Withdrawal does not affect processing that was lawful before you withdrew consent.

4. Advertising and your choices

Kaboom Cove can show interstitial ads between levels and optional rewarded ads in exchange for in-game benefits. Buying Remove Ads or Starter Pack removes interstitial ads; rewarded videos remain optional.

Where required, the App displays a Google consent form before requesting ads. You can consent, decline, or manage the available choices. When available, open Settings → Privacy choices in the App to review or withdraw your advertising consent. The form identifies participating advertising partners and their purposes.

On iOS, Apple's tracking permission is a separate choice. You can change it in your device's Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking. Declining tracking does not stop every form of data processing, and ads may still be shown as allowed by your consent settings and applicable law.

5. In-app purchases

The App offers optional coin packs, Remove Ads, and Starter Pack. Apple handles billing, while RevenueCat helps verify transactions and maintain purchase entitlements. Purchase history is processed for app functionality, fraud prevention, and purchase reporting.

Use Restore Purchases in the App to restore eligible permanent purchases using your Apple account. Purchased coins are credited to your local game save and are not restored by Restore Purchases. Deleting the App may remove local coins and progress; retaining a store transaction does not provide a cloud backup of your game save.

6. Service providers and sharing

Information is shared as needed with these providers:

We may also disclose information when necessary to comply with law, respond to lawful requests, or protect users and the App from fraud or abuse.

7. Storage and retention

Local progress and preferences remain on your device until app data is cleared or the App is deleted, subject to operating system backups. Uninstalling the App does not automatically delete purchase or advertising records held by service providers.

Purchase records are retained as needed to verify and restore eligible purchases, prevent fraud, and meet legal obligations. Support correspondence is retained for as long as needed to resolve your request and any related legal requirements. Advertising data is retained according to the providers' practices and applicable consent choices. Contact us to request deletion of information associated with the App, subject to applicable exceptions.

Gameplay and app usage events are kept for up to 12 months and then deleted. App startup diagnostic logs are kept for up to 14 days.

8. International transfers and security

Usage statistics and startup diagnostics are processed by PostHog in the European Union; our other providers may process information outside your country, including in the United States. Where required, transfers are subject to safeguards under applicable data protection law, such as approved contractual protections. You can contact us for more information about relevant safeguards.

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect information, including encrypted connections to purchase, advertising, and analytics services. No transmission or storage method can be guaranteed completely secure.

9. Children's privacy

Kaboom Cove is intended for a general audience and is not specifically directed at children. Parents and guardians should supervise children's use of apps, advertising choices, and purchases. If you believe a child has provided personal information through the App or a support request, contact us so we can investigate and take appropriate action.

10. Your privacy rights

Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or receive a copy of your personal data, restrict or object to processing, and withdraw consent. In the EU/EEA and UK, these rights apply subject to the conditions and exceptions in data protection law. You may also complain to your local data protection authority, including ANSPDCP in Romania.

To exercise your rights, email hello@wecraft.dev or use our contact page. Because the App has no personal account, we may need information such as a purchase reference to locate the relevant record. Please do not send payment card details or passwords.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy when the App or its services change. The latest version will be available at this address with a revised update date. Where required, we will provide additional notice or request fresh consent for material changes.
